[Cafe Hopping in Singapore] Lola's Cafe (Kovan)
Woohoo~~ Weekends are coming! Have you thought of where to chill? Introducing the Lola's Café to you today.
We didn't know Lola's was THAT famous and was 'alarmed' by the crowd waiting outside the café on a Sunday morning. Spotted the cafe below?
Here’s their smart queuing system, once it’s your turn, you will be notified via an sms or call.
We had to be put on a queue system with an expected waiting time of 1 hour but alas, we only had to wait for about 20 mins to get a seat. Hurray!
The café is not huge but tables are still fairly spaced away from each other, so you won’t run the risk of others eavesdropping. Haha.
Here’s the cozy interior, brightly lit, this place spells homely comfort.

Food was served pretty quickly, plus point
Here's our order:
Avocado Eggs Benedict $15
Oozing runny poached egg yolk flows on Brioche bread, avocado, pork ham, Hollandaise Sauce, Garden Salad and Balsamic Dressing. Yummylicious!

Lola's Full Monty Breakfast $15
Meat lovers rejoice! This breakfast platter is your brunch time energy source with its many varieties. Definitely makes a hearty meal to start off your day and comes served with Brioche Bread, Pork Sausages, Pork Ham, Honey Bacons, Scrambled Egg, Garden Salad and Balsamic Dressing.
Drooling yet?? Glossy sausages with all-so fragrant scramble egg...
The overall dining experience was thumbs up.
Turnover of the tables were fast and the staff were welcoming and friendly. Bonus points for the good services despite the hectic crowd and many growling stomachs waiting to tuck into their brunches.

Banana Earl Grey Tart $5
Last but not least to end off our meal, we had their Banana Earl Grey Tart which was spread over with the oh-so-smooth Earl Grey Pastry Cream, laid with slices of Caramelized Banana and topped of with crunchy Pistachio Crumbles. Not overwhelmingly sweet, this tart makes the perfect ending to our meal.
